Compiling is not the cut

Definition of done

If the definition of done is “it builds,” you hired a compiler. A director’s DoD says how a person uses the rite, and which appearances are automatic reverts — sidebar, flame streak, honeymoon CTA, chatbot.

Two halves

Life: she types a track and sees it in the list in two minutes. Death: if a template sidebar appears, revert. Without the death half, “already built” becomes a hostage situation.

Write it in the order

DoD that lives only in your head will lose to the agent’s helpfulness. Put it in the paste. Agents are not stubborn. They are completionists.

FAQ

Isn’t this just QA?

QA checks that the rite works. DoD as cut also checks that the wrong product did not arrive wearing the rite’s clothes.
